EveryBody Works is a one of a kind transition program that blends post-secondary education with paid work experiences. Students will utilize the Autism Scholarship Program to gain eligibility once they have completed all the requirements that are needed to graduate.
Students will spend part of their time at our class space on Ohio Dominican's campus learning adult daily living skills. The rest of the time, the students will spend time at paid internships, one semester.
Unlike other transition programs in the area, Food for Good Thought's EveryBody Works program is able to set itself apart by paying the students for the time they spend working. This allows the intervention specialist to spend time teaching real life experiences. Additionally, our space on Ohio Dominicans campus allow the students to spend more time with age appropriate peers and gives them their first college experience.
